Grammelot was formed in 2016 by the union of two companies: E-level Communication (a pioneer in digital training and custom CBT for Aerospace & Defense, founded in 1996) and Krill (experts in document management, digital signatures, timestamping, and trusted preservation, founded in 2003). Their combined strengths underpin nearly thirty years of experience across Europe and power our two current business units: Quiddis and KloudArchive. Building on this expertise, we design and deliver our own customizable SaaS platforms and digital products to meet clients’ requirements of any kind. Our goal is to help businesses adopt up-to-date digital solutions and tools that improve performance and profitability. We don’t just sell a product: we bring decades of practical experience, committed to finding the best solution and determined to achieve your goals – and, therefore, ours.

Grammelot is the parent technology company, while Quiddis and KloudArchive are two business units that express our expertise as focused offerings. Quiddis concentrates on digital training, KloudArchive focuses on digital preservation and long-term archiving. Together, these units turn Grammelot’s consulting and engineering know-how into specialized products and services that solve concrete business needs.

Using Dario Fo’s words, «Grammelot is a term of French origin, coined by Commedia players, and the word itself is devoid of meaning. It refers to a babel of sounds which, nonetheless, manage to convey the sense of a speech. […] A method of producing the semblance of a given language without adopting real or identifiable words from that language.» (Dario Fo, The Tricks of the Trade)
